Construction begins on $69 million Loyola Medicine Ambulatory Care Center
TINLEY PARK, IL – Construction is underway on a new $69 million ambulatory care center in Tinley Park, Illinois. Walsh Construction joined Loyola Medicine to celebrate the groundbreaking of a 70,000-square-foot, two-story building that will offer an imaging center, primary care and specialty care services for orthopedic surgery, oncology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine and urology.
The facility will be constructed on a greenfield site in the southwest suburb of Chicago, and project leaders anticipate completion in early 2023.
"We are excited to begin construction and work with our design and engineering partners to create a first-class healthcare facility for Loyola Medicine and our neighbors in the southwest suburbs," said Tom Caplis, Vice President of Healthcare at Walsh Construction.
Walsh Construction will serve as the project's general contractor with HOK as the lead designer and IMEG Corp. as the project engineer.
