Walsh Construction completes The Sheridan at Park Ridge, a senior living and memory care community
Walsh Construction has completed construction of The Sheridan at Park Ridge, a new senior living and memory care community developed by Kaufman Jacobs, along with Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Walsh Construction served as the general contractor for the $24 million community located in Park Ridge, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago.
Designed by OKW Architects, The Sheridan at Park Ridge is a 100,000-square foot, four story structure containing 64 assisted living units and 36 specialized memory care units for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-diminishing illnesses. Beautifully clad in brick and EIFS, the building will offer its residents sweeping views of the Park Ridge Country Club. The facility also boasts top-notch amenities including a fitness and therapy center, multi-media room, beauty salon, library, outdoor tranquility garden and more.
For more than 15 years, Walsh Construction has partnered with Senior Lifestyle Corporation to deliver first class senior residences at more than a dozen locations, recently completing The Sheridan at Green Oaks in Lake Bluff, Illinois and The Sheridan at Tyler Creek in Elgin, Illinois. The Sheridan at Park Ridge brings a much-needed assisted living option and memory care service to the residents of Park Ridge.
